Being a long Anime series with lots of characters, Naruto naturally has many couples of both Yaoi or non-Yaoi. One of my all-time favourites is this particular couple: Neji & Tenten.
Like all the other couples in Naruto, they're not officially together. In fact, some might say that the pairing is a creation of us Anime Freaks. However, if you pay close attention to the show, you'll find that Neji & Tenten are perfectly matching and that chances of them becoming a official couple are rather high.
Hyuuga Neji: Member of Hyuuga Branch House. Considered a prodigy and most talented of all genins. No.1 Rookie of his year. 1/3 of Team Gai. Anti-social, cold and distant. Used to believe in Fate and that no one can defy it.
Tenten: Has a deadly accuracy when throwing weapons. 1/3 of Team Gai. Feelings for Neji highly visible. No known surname.
Tenten is practically the only girl which Neji ever gets close enough to and is his only link to sanity in Team Gai[With people like Lee & Gai, who wouldn't go mad?]. He trains almost exclusively with her and her alone as Gai is occupied with training Lee. In fact, I reckon Tenten's just about the only girl Neji has real respect for.
On the other hand, Tenten admires Neji for his genius in the ninja arts and obviously has feelings for him. Perhaps if she's persistant enough and if Neji would just stop being so blind[No pun intended] to his constant companion, love may just occur.
And even if they're not a item yet, there's proof that they're perfectly matching. They compliment each other in so many ways. As training partners, as teammates, as companions...
